History of Nirove in South Africa

Executive Contracting

The original Business was registered in 2004 as “Executive Contracting” by Sandra and Gerrie van Tonder. The business was started to support Borbet South Africa with the Paint stripping of Alloy wheels for their Perseverance plant. The Business was originally situated in North End Port Elizabeth but was moved to 27 Kurland road, Perseverance in late 2004 to be close to their only customer Borbet.

2005

Nirove South Africa (51% Shares)
In 2005 the Nirove Group from Germany bought 51% of the shares of Executive contracting. The Name was immediately changed to Nirove South Africa.

2007

Nirove South Africa (100% Shares)
In 2007, Nirove bought the additional shares from Sandra and Gerry to give them 100% shares in the business.

2010

Nirove South Africa (ABL Technic)
In 2010, the ABL Technic group took over 100% share of the Nirove South Africa. The name Nirove South Africa was retained.

2011

Nirove moves its premises
In 2011, Nirove South Africa moved Premises from 27 Kurland Road to 22 Kurland Road.

2014

ISO 9001 Certification
In 2014 Nirove South Africa received its ISO 9001 Certification.

2015

ISO 14001 Certification
In 2015 Nirove South Africa received its ISO 14001 Certification.

2019

Management Buyout
In January 2019 a Management Buyout was done for the business in South Africa.


Nirove is now a wholly owned South African Business.
